Technology is the most essential thing for most of the people in the present. It has eased the way people live by accelerating communication between individuals or groups, help students with their study and reduce time travel. In reality, children are the ones who are adapting to technology. A question is asked whether technology is beneficial for children or not. According to question, technology gives positive effects on children for 3 reasons.

Firstly, technology allows children for creativity. In the past, kids had only stuffs like crayons and colored markers for them to draw their ideas out. Nevertheless, now they have a computer, tablets, and so much more to help them run their imagination into reality. Instead of pens and papers, they have 3D amination and make it into a genius figure. Moreover, creating a video game and mobile application is the expression of the kids. Who knows that their creation could be the prototype of a million-dollar business.

Secondly, technology aids in socialization. It is not a scary problem that children can find other kids to interact and bond with over the internet. Video game, social media, mobile application are hobbies and interests just like sports or reading. There is an event called STEM which gathers children and gets them to involve in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Kids can work in a group with the same age. Actually, they can gain new knowledge from STEM, do social networking with other kids and train themselves to get along well with society.

Finally, technology enhances learning. As we can see in reality, there many sources from websites, mobile application which they can be the assistance for children with their studies. If kids want to read, they just search in their computer or phone, they will see what they want. Sometimes, they can learn off-campus. It means that they don’t have to go to school to study, they just learn the lessons from home.

Conversely, some people said that children who spend time with their smart devices a lot will be lazy and addictive. This point has some merit on the surface. However, as stated from the start, technology is created to ease people’s lives. Children can spend some time to learn and can spend some time to involve entertainment like watching videos or playing games to release the stress they have from school.

           In conclusion, there are more benefits to children but the major positive effects are allowing children’s creativity, aiding in socialization and enhancing learning. In my opinion, children should be allowed full access to technology, but parents should also effectively control them and make sure they go in the right way.
